• Sodium oxybate comes in a liquid form, which makes it easier for patients to swallow
• Since sodium oxybate is dosed at bedtime, patients do not have to worry about taking doses in the middle of the day, or having to carry it around.

• Twice nightly dosing, with the second dose to be taken 2.5 – 4 hours after the first dose, in the middle of the night
